Verified feature request does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

💻

  • Would you like to implement this feature?

Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

Out of curiosity, I want to know how much income I have earned in total. If I somehow had managed never to spend any money, how much money would I have? What is the sum total of all my earned income through the total time I've been budgeting?

Same for payments, how much money have I spent total?

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

The Summary widget in Reports could easily do this, I think. Just the ability to filter for "Deposits" or "Payments" and then setting the time to "all time".

Teaching and learning
