  • Would you like to implement this feature?

Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

Not really a problem but something I have been doing for over 10 years, started in Excel with VB macros and has now moved to Google Sheets with JS macros. I am not sure if this is something other people want, but it's something I could not live without financially so I am sharing. Please ignore the colors, I simply tried to pick colors that would stand out against each other.

This Google sheet allows me to plan out up to 8 paychecks. Which bills I am going to pay to make sure I don't miss a bill, how much will be left out of each check after my bills, which bills I have are debits what the balance and interest are. There is another tab where I can pick my debit and try and focus down what I want.

Videos attached of how it works, this is obviously just a demo. There is a Setup sheet that lets me put in myself and my wife, when we get paid and how much. which is also attached. When I want to assign the bill I mark it with the check number, 1-8, and it adds it to that check column. When I pay that bill on check one, I put it an X and it removes it from there. If the bill will be late, it will tell you that, to avoid visual mistakes. After I pay all the bills out of that check, I have a script that moves everything up one check and makes 8 the next check. I would be happy to demo more if this is something that you guys like. I think it could be a decent feature. I would not be able to help put it in, I am not a coder. The script in that would probably make your eyes bleed but it works.
