Verified feature request does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

💻

  • Would you like to implement this feature?

Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

I reconcile my accounts on a weekly basis. When signing in to Actual, I have no clue which accounts need attention because they all look the same, as shown in the example below.

Coming from YNAB, I'm used to being able to quickly see which accounts has transactions that need approval and/or reconciliation. Those accounts are displayed in bold and with a dot, as shown in the example in the screenshot below, which makes it easy to quickly see which accounts need attention.

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

I'd like to see something similar to YNAB's solution. In the screenshot below, I've created a quick mockup using the browser dev tools. Something along those lines would be a good enough solution as far as I'm concerned. This could of course be a setting you could enable/disable in the settings, so it's not forced on every user who might not want this feature.

Teaching and learning

Update the relevant docs with information about the feature. Based on a quick look, the two sections below would need to be updated.

I would like to comment that the highlight should be obvious such as a dot in the OP screenshot or an easy to spot color. Bold text doesn't work well as it is hard to see.
