Verified feature request does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

💻

  • Would you like to implement this feature?

Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

Coming from YNAB, I would like to see the progress bar for each category which quickly summarize whether my budget is on track or not.

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

For every category, a progress bar is displayed so that at a quick glance the budget UI shows how the budget for that month is going.
Ideally, the feature could be extended with the possibility to display the budget division according to the template used for that category.
For example:
#template 100 repeat every week will show a progress bar split into 4 chunks (or 5 depending on the month), filled based on the transactions for that category.
