Verified feature request does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

💻

  • Would you like to implement this feature?

Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

When I am importing my transactions, there are multiple transfers from my checking to savings, as well as card payments from checking. When I set the payee to initiate the transfer, it creates a second transfer entry in that payee's ledger.

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

Can there be a way (or is there a way that I wasn't able to find) to link these so entries don't need to be deleted afterwards?

Teaching and learning

Steps can be inserted into the Transfers documentation area.

I stumbled upon this while wondering if this could be accomplished. How would this be accomplished via rules? I can isolate the transfers in my imports but don't see an option to turn it into a transfer.
