What happened?

If you have a note on a split transaction (the main/mother transaction), you can filter using the "Notes" with the content of the note.

But if you use the same filter in a report, it does not work.

How can we reproduce the issue?

Why is it not working? Both pages show 0 filtered balance. (Thats probably a different issue that I think is already reported)

I did not notice the "Filtered balance" being at 0 on the first screen and the gif is truncated, my bad

As you can see in this screenshot, I was expecting an amount of 1.13 being shown as "filtered", I guess there is no discrepancy then, just that filtering on the "main" transaction ends up being a bit misleading, right?

Yeah, just that the filtering is a bit strange. I believe its because the parent transaction is the one you filtered for and it is considered to have an amount of 0 so the child transactions don't cause double counting other places.
