Verified feature request does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

💻

  • Would you like to implement this feature?

Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

Can we have an option in custom reports to plot a line chart for daily balances. It would be great to track performances of investment accounts, specially stock accounts. Something similar to what we see like on Robinhood App dashboard. This is the only missing feature at the moment needing me to sign into all investment accounts periodically to monitor the performance. Would also be great to see trends over days, months or years like most of investment accounts provide. I have posted this as a question on Discord channel as well https://discord.com/channels/937901803608096828/1317249717855453236

TIA.

the current custom report page is so close to being able to do this. the following screenshot is almost exactly what I want. theres only two things missing.

  • ability for each point to represents the total amount at that time, rather than just the total since the previous point.
  • ability to include the net value (currently only shown at the top right) as its own line in the graph.

imo its kind of strange that the line graph option in the custom report doesn't already do these things by default. its current behavior seems to me like a weirder looking version of the bar graph mode, and I can't imagine any case where I would prefer it.

You can use the net worth report to show this. Set the interval to be days, weeks, months, years. You can then save the report to your report dashboard.

net worth isn't quite what im looking for. it is limited to a single line that shows cumulative net worth, it doesn't let you see individual lines for individual payees.
