What happened?

Daily repeating schedules with Auto-post scheduled transaction enabled show status Paid even when today’s occurrence has no transaction. Because the status is already “Paid”, auto-post never runs and no transaction is created for today.

Expected: On the scheduled date, the status should be Due (or Missed after the date passes) and auto-post should create today’s transaction.

Actual: Status stays Paid and auto-post does not create a transaction.

How can we reproduce the issue?

  1. Create a schedule that repeats every day and enable Auto-post scheduled transaction.
  2. Ensure there is a linked posted transaction for yesterday (for example, let auto-post run once or manually post yesterday’s occurrence).
  3. Move to the next day (the schedule’s next date is “today”).
  4. Observe the schedule status shows Paid and no auto-posted transaction is created for today.
