What happened?

It is very difficult to register a tap on the tiny arrow in order to expand/collapse category groups when using the mobile layout. It only works like 10% of the time for me and is very frustrating. Most of the time it just opens the category group settings dialog.

Since tapping the amounts area to the right of the group label doesn't do anything anyway, that would be a much better target to activate toggle. Or just have the whole category group header row switch it. It would feel a lot more natural and intuitive that way also.

How can we reproduce the issue?

Have display/zoom settings set small and try to do it.

Where are you hosting Actual?

Docker

Just wanted to add this might be a nice improvement for the desktop/web as well actually. Instinctively, I find myself clicking the header row for the category group to expand/collapse it or at least wanting to. It would be a huge time saver, too rather than having to go click the little arrow or category name.
