Verified issue does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

What happened?

I just created a second budget, and now on desktop the sidebar doesn't stay pinned anymore.

Previously the sidebar would stay pinned, while now when I close the app and re-open it, at startup I find the sidebar is hidden and unpinned, while I'd like for it to keep the state it had before closing the app.

I actually don't know if this bug has been introduced with an update or by having more than one budget, because it's so annoying that I tried removing the second budget I created just to have the sidebar keep the correct state, but actually now the bug still remains.

How can we reproduce the issue?

Steps to reproduce:

  • Create second budget
  • Pin the sidebar
  • Close the app and reopen it

Result:
The sidebar is closed and unpinned

Desired Result:
The sidebar should keep the previous state (open and pinned)

Where are you hosting Actual?

Pikapods

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Desktop App (Electron)

Operating System

Mac OSX
