What happened?

Hi, I have observed that transactions are failing to import under certain conditions:

  • Tesco UK - I had two identical transactions, separated by 2 hours on the same day. Only one of those transactions got imported. The use case was parking with RinGo for 2h and then extending for another 2.
  • Amex UK - I was purchasing some flowers as a present, and some groceries for myself. As a result I had 2 transactions in a space of 5 mins. Only one of those transactions got imported.
    I have seen similar behaviour in the past, so I suspect something systemic is going on.

PS. I tried raising this on the Discord channel as suggested, but got no traction. Raising here instead.

How can we reproduce the issue?

One pattern I have observed is having several identical transactions in a short space of time (several hours).

Where are you hosting Actual?

Self-hosted on my Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) on Windows 11

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Firefox

Please reach out on discord for support with bank sync issues. If data inst getting imported its likely an issue on gocardless end. You can see the imported data by opening the browser console, then seeing if the transactions are missing there or not.
