Verified feature request does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

💻

  • Would you like to implement this feature?

Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

While fussing with another problem, I had come across the Files page (what you see when select My Finances > Switch File. On that page, I see two different "My Finances" files; the only thing that distinguishes them is one is listed as "Synching" and the other is listed as "Available for download". (I assume if I had three "My Finances" files, two would would be listed as "Available for download".)

On this page, it would be useful to provide some additional metadata to help the user to chose which file to use. I'm thinking of something like the last transaction date, overall number of transactions, or suchlike; just something to help the user choose betweeen the various files. (It would, of course, have to be something that is easily obtainable to avoid having to process the files.)

This would have been particularly useful in the scenario I ran into this because while fussing with that problem. I had one machine syncing with one file and the other syncing with the other. When trying to rectify the problem, having something like the last transaction date would have helped quite a bit; intead I had to experiment.)

Describe your ideal solution to this problem
