What happened?

macOS won't open the 25.2.1 app for Apple Silicon (ARM) Macs. Finder says the app is damaged.

How can we reproduce the issue?

Install 25.2.1 desktop app on Mac. Try to open. Be disappointed.

Where are you hosting Actual?

Other

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

@MikesGlitch It looks like the app didn't get signed. @SalocinHB It probably would work if you disabled gatekeeper on that app.

You’re right, the Intel version isn’t signed. If you chose to ignore that, at least it runs. The ARM version doesn’t even do that.

It's fixed now - you'll need to download again: https://github.com/actualbudget/actual/releases/tag/v25.2.1
