What happened?

I was trying to log a transfer from an account to a newly created off-budget account. Usually these are categorised as Transfer, however now it asks me to manually set a category.

How can we reproduce the issue?

  1. Be on version v26.2.0
  2. Have a normal account
  3. Create a new off-budget account
  4. Transfer form the normal account to the newly created account
  5. See that you have to manually categorise the transaction

Where are you hosting Actual?

Docker

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Firefox

Operating System

Windows 11

Any funds that enter or leave the budget need a category.
