Verified feature request does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

💻

  • Would you like to implement this feature?

Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

The Copy template will copy the budget amount from some number of months prior. This is useful if your spending is inconsistent per month, but cyclical over a period of months. The table below shows how to use the Copy template. https://actualbudget.org/docs/experimental/goal-templates#copy-type
The current option looks like this: #template copy from 12 months ago
I would like the ability to to and increase/decrase by a percentage or an amount.
The reason for this is because certain things like electricity will have monthly variations from seasons, but I want to account for yearly rate hikes.

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

I want something like this: #template copy from 12 months ago [increase 20%]

Teaching and learning
