Verified feature request does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

💻

  • Would you like to implement this feature?

Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

Thanks for all the great work on Actual!

Clicking the arrow icon on a transfer transactions takes us to the opposite account that the other side of the transfer resides. However it just dumps us at the top i.e. the most recent transactions in view.

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

It would make more sense if the list of transactions on the newly loaded account would scroll automatically, so that we could immediately see the linked transaction that is the other side of the transfer we clicked from.

Teaching and learning

User probably expect this behaviour already, or at least I did. Docs don't mention the ability to click on the arrow, so they probably should, then we could say we take you to the txn as I expect.

Related ish, on mobile clicking Back out of the transaction editor also scrolls us right back to the top of the account's transactions, but it should take us back to the prior scroll position, so the txn we had had open is shown again in the list.
