What happened?

Tapping on a budgeted amount in a category displays the edit dialog, but a lot of the times, the keyboard immediately hides and focus seems to get set to one of the options below the amount field (like Set to yearly average, for example.) Tapping on the budgeted amount input on the dialog briefly shows the keyboard and then quickly hides it again.

Eventually, tapping enough times will cause the keyboard to stick in place and the amount can be edited. This only occurs in portrait position as changing the device to landscape allows editing the value in place without showing the dialog.

Here's a video of what is happening:

How can we reproduce the issue?

  • Launch the app on mobile Safari (currently running iOS 26.2)
  • Select a budget category's Budgeted amount
  • the bug will occur if the value is initially gray. If it is not, tap into it and the keyboard disappears. Attempting to tap into it again gets into a cycle as mentioned in the What Happened section.

I'm also having the same issue on Safari and I also tried Chrome both on iOS.

Same exact issue, for the last few weeks. Seems to have started immediately after updating to iOS 26. I use Pikapods. Not sure if this helps to know as well… when I have an overbudgeted amount, I’m able to choose a category to cover, and it even gives me the “covered overbudgeted from…” message, but nothing actually changes.
