Verified feature request does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

💻

  • Would you like to implement this feature?

Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

Currently, one-time transactions cannot be meaningfully visualized in charts unless separate categories/tags are created for each, which is not ideal for budgeting workflows. Notes added to transactions are not usable in visual reports, making them effectively invisible in analysis. Without a way to include notes in charts, their value in reporting is significantly limited.

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

I'd like to visually highlight non-recurring expenses for example, one-time purchases within a chart. While categories provide structure, sometimes individual notes (attached to transactions) carry meaningful context, such as "Laptop purchase" or "Emergency dental visit."

It would be incredibly useful to have a way to display the notes in a chart format. This could help visualize and track exceptional or non-monthly spending without creating separate categories.
