What happened?

There seems to be an issue with income schedules + tracking budgets.

With the attached example budget, I have an income schedule setup to be +$500 biweekly. That means that in March, there should be a total of $1000 coming in. The Income category has a rule setup of #template schedule full Income so that when the template is applied, there should be $1000 available to be budgeted.

It seems like the app is looking at past or current month when the template is applied, causing an unexpected value for the budgeted amount.

How can we reproduce the issue?

2025-02-05-Income Schedule Bug.zip

  1. Load example budget above
  2. Enable goal templates
  3. Click "Apply budget templates" for March 2025

Expected value for budgeted Income: $1000
Actual result: $750

@youngcw just tried on edge, seeing $750. Not sure what the deal is.
