Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

When I budget money in next month's categories, the total budgeted amount across those categories is not reflected in the current month's 'To Budget' amount. I have to manually update it for all future months' total budgeted amounts.

For example, in October, the total budgeted amount across several categories is $482.77. I've also budgeted more for November and December. However, I have to manually adjust it, as the system doesn't automatically account for the total budgeted amount across all months.

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

When the user sets a budget for any category, the system should check whether the budgeted amount is for the current month. If it's not, the current month's hold should be updated to include this new budgeted amount. Additionally, we could consider renaming 'Hold For Next Month' to something more meaningful, like 'Hold For Future Months,' if it makes sense. The goal is to ensure that the 'To Budget' amount accurately reflects the remaining amount available for the current month.
