What happened?

Hi! I just updated the Apple Silicon Mac (arm64) app with the new version and suddenly the hotkeys stopped working.

I quickly noticed because I use copy and paste a lot in the notes and I thought it was just something in the text fields but I just noticed that CMD + Q doesn't work either, so I think it's affecting all the hotkeys.

I see in the release notes that there was a bugfix for hotkeys (#5901) that could be the root cause (but haven't checked)

Can you take a look? Thanks!

How can we reproduce the issue?

Open the Apple Silicon Mac (arm64) app with the latest version and try any of these hotkeys: CMD+C, CMD+X, CMD+V, CMD+Q...

Where are you hosting Actual?

Desktop App (Electron)

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Having the same issue on the same arm64 platform. CMD-Q doesn't work and even using mouse to select Exit from the menu only closes the main window and leaves Actual still running in the dock (requiring a further right-click/Quit to close).

I have the same problem: CMD-Q is not working. App can only be closed right clicking on the dock icon

I think this because the macOS app is missing standard menu items in 25.11.0 that should be in every macOS app. This results in not being able to quit the app with the standard shortcut to quit apps.

I can't even paste hostname or password info when starting up the desktop app... I'm a first time user trying it out and this is extremely frustrating. I downloaded v25.11.0. When will the fix from #6067 be released?

Are there nightly desktop builds that the adventurous could access to unblock? I haven't been able to find them in the documentation about preview and edge builds which all seem focused on web clients
