Verified issue does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

What happened?

When you select a scheduled transaction that has splits, click the "# transaction" menu, and select "Post Transaction", it posts correctly - including the splits. But if you select "Post Transaction Today" then only the main transaction posts - the splits are gone.

How can we reproduce the issue?

  1. select a scheduled transaction that has splits
  2. click the "# transaction" menu
  3. select "Post Transaction Today"
  4. only the main transaction posts - the splits are gone

Where are you hosting Actual?

Docker

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Operating System

Linux

The underlying issue here is that because you are posting the schedule outside of the date matching range. This causes the underlying schedule rule to not run. To get it to work properly, use the "Post transaction" option, then change the date.
