Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

When placing payment information for a mortgage it makes sense to separate the Principal from the Interest. That way one could track their network more accurately.

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

Ynab has a solution for this with tracking accounts (https://www.ynab.com/blog/how-to-do-your-mortgage-in-ynab). I would propose their should be some sort of off budget account type for mortgages that would allow you yo place mortgage start, end, percentage, and initial down payment. With that information actual budget would be able to automatically calculate the monthly principal and interest payment. Those categories in the budget should auto be added like the income one is. Actual should be able to calculate changes caused by additional payments
