Verified issue does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

What happened?

This is a really minor issue, but when I change what months of my budget I am viewing, the highlighted months in the picker get out of sync. You can see in the screenshot I am viewing September and October, but right above that it shows August and September.

How can we reproduce the issue?

Look at your budget with only two months shown at a time. (It only happens with two months for some reason.)

Then select at least one month ahead of the current month. (If it's August, select September so that you are viewing September and October.) The months highlighted should now be different than the months you are viewing.

Other notes:
Once I hit January 2026, it's back in sync and correctly highlights Jan and Feb.
It doesn't seem to matter what browser I use.

Where are you hosting Actual?

None

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Firefox

Operating System

Windows and macOS

I've proposed a fix in #5622, though I suspect the issue comes from the date module (see date-fns/date-fns#4061)
