What happened?

I updated SimpleFIN with credentials for a credit card, and when I clicked "Bank Sync", I got this error: "There was an internal error. Please get in touch [url]".

Recently, this credit card wasn't updating my transactions, and I think the most recent update was May 31, 2025. It's weird because I've synced it since then and not all transactions were showing up. Though maybe that's a different issue... I've emailed SimpleFIN about transactions not showing up already.

How can we reproduce the issue?

I'm not sure how to reproduce the issue, other than just clicking the "Bank Sync" button, though I realize that's not helpful.

When I clicked "Add Account", the Amex card isn't on the list of SimpleFIN-linked accounts, even though it's linked when I go directly to SimpleFIN. Maybe that's why?

Where are you hosting Actual?

Locally via Yarn

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Firefox

I am also having this issue. I have SimpleFIN set up and all my account info is up to date. When I try to sync accounts, I get tons of red errors. Each account says this:
