Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

I’d like to request adding a “Group” column to the transaction view.

Some of my categories have the same name but belong to different groups. For example:

  • Food under Personal
  • Food under Business

This makes it difficult to distinguish between them in the transaction list.

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

Add a read-only "Group" column to the transaction view that displays the group associated with each category.
The group value should not be editable in the transaction view.
It should always reflect the group defined for the selected category.

Benefits
Improves clarity when using categories with identical names.
Helps with visual filtering and auditing transactions more accurately.
