Verified feature request does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

💻

  • Would you like to implement this feature?

Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

I usually look at the net worth report to tell if my finances are generally going in the right direction over time. The problem with that is that the last included month (the current one) takes a significant dip about 80% of the time I look at it since I get my salary near the end of the month.
I can somewhat deal with this by just ignoring the last point of the chart, but I'd like the total change within the reporting duration to be meaningful as well.

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

Ideally this could be solved by a toggle whether the given duration (3/6/12 months or year to date/all time) should count back from the current or previous month. This would have no effect on the "last year" option obviously.

This may or may not be applicable to some of the other reports as well, like summary or cash flow.
