Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

Very often I am filling the envelopes upfront the expected spending. I am securing the money I will need in future.

To understand my spending habits, I am missing an overview with averages spending. Do I forecast well? Is my planned budget good enough? How to plan the future without understanding the past?

Having a new type for Custom Reports like "Averages Data Table" could help a lot.

This type of information already exists through an application - for example, setting a budget to an average. I still, personally, prefer to plan the budget - but without a data allowing an introspection - it's a bit hard.

Current state of art

The only way I figured out to plot these - is by putting next to each other a separate Custom Reports with a different time horizon, like 3m, 6m, 12m. This solution is suboptimal, as each of the report contains its own Total. It's cluttered:

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

A new Custom Report type, similar to Data Table, would be great.

User could pick a set of averages for the columns. Personally, I would pick 3 months, 6 months, 12 months.
