  • I have searched and found no existing issue

💻

  • Would you like to implement this feature?

Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

Hello,
I would like to see a way to create a rule that says:
If category "Income" set "hold for next month" total amount.

We will consider implementing ones that receive many upvotes, and we welcome contributions for any feature requests marked as needing votes (just post a comment first so we can help you make a successful contribution).

look at #4778 if you are interested in auto holding funds.

The main issue with this request is that rules only modify transactions, they don't perform actions outside of setting transaction fields.
