Verified feature request does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

💻

  • Would you like to implement this feature?

Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

I have cases where many payees fall under the same category, and it would be a very useful feature to batch assign categories for said payees.

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

In the same way that there is a "create rule" button next to every payee in the "Payees" tab, I'd like to be able to do that same action across multiple payees in one fell swoop. I'm thinking it could be such that, when you select multiple payees using the check-boxes, it would give you and option to create a rule for them in the existing drop-down menu in the top left.
