What happened?

After entering all details in mobile view and adding the transaction, the account and notes field do not reset to empty to begin filling out a new transaction.

How can we reproduce the issue?

Add a new transaction on mobile, hit "add transaction" and check if the account and notes field were emptied.

Where are you hosting Actual?

Pikapods

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Firefox

Hi @RahulShagri I'm not able to reproduce this on Firefox or chrome on my android. Is this still occurring? And could you try the same steps on https://edge.actualbudget.com with a test file and see if it still happens? Thanks!

Hi @alecbakholdin, I just realized that this bug only exists in the shortcut "Add Transaction" that I've added to my home screen. Which is like a widget that you click and it takes you directly to the add transaction page.

Meanwhile, if you open the app itself and click on the + sign at the bottom of the screen and add a transaction, the add transaction page disappears once you have added a new transaction.

Try adding a new transaction widget to recreate the bug.

Thanks @RahulShagri that helps! Turns out there is no page to go back to, so it gets stuck in a state we're not expecting. I'm hoping this fixes it.

Hi,

I see that the bug has been fixed and now the new transaction page goes to the home page. But when I click on 'new transaction' right after getting to the home page, the account field seems to be still holding the previous value. The notes field gets reset however.
