Verified issue does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

What happened?

The new feature to display the last reconciled date is not accessible when using a mobile browser in landscape mode. I have to long press the lock for it to pop up the tooltip, which pops up directly under my finger. As soon as I release my finger, it goes away and the reconcile box pops up. Please make the last reconciled data always visible on mobile browsers.

How can we reproduce the issue?

Long press the lock and release. The tooltip goes away immediately.

Where are you hosting Actual?

Pikapods

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Chrome

Operating System

Mobile Device

That's definitely better than a tooltip, at least you can see it this way, but it kind of defeats the purpose of showing the date. Think about why you need to show it in the first place, it's so you can look and say "I haven't reconciled in a while, I really should do it". If it's on the reconcile popup, you're already reconciling, so it's not very helpful then. The date should really be visible at the top of the transactions screen at a glance, no click or hover needed. Otherwise it might as well not exist.

Counterpoint: you can already get a sense that you haven't done it in a while just by glancing at the reconciled/cleared checkboxes on the right of the table. If you really need a more accurate number, clicking the reconciliation button is not a tremendous lift for the user. I'm saying this because I don't like the idea of adding UI clutter for something that is already 1 click away.

Anything is better than the current implementation.
