Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

Currently, if you are viewing a list of transactions and want to filter by category (or payee), you need to dig through the filter menu and select that filter (or type into the search box). This is somewhat slow, especially for frequently filtered things like categories or payees.

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

I propose being able to CMD-Click (maybe CTRL-click for Windows?) on a category name or a payee name in the transaction table, and it would then filter (within the same set of accounts) to that category or payee. This is a somewhat common UI interaction that I have seen in some other apps.

Teaching and learning

Probably, the docs would need to be updated to point this out, as it is somewhat undiscoverable. Perhaps here: https://actualbudget.org/docs/tour/accounts#filtering-on-transactions
