Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

It would be nice to have a Name column for the Rules to describe different types of Rules (probably for different categories). This way it's easy to find which rule is for what and then just add more conditions to it if I have another transaction of similar category.
Example: Today, I have a Rule that categorizes all Walmart transactions to Groceries. And after a while, I start goin to Target and want to categorize that as Groceries too, it wil be easy to find the Rule by the name.

If Name is added as a column in the Rules page with a sort option, users could also create Rules starting with numbers to see the rules in a specific order

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

Add a column Name in the Rules table

  • Users should have an option to name the Rule when creating the rule
  • The Name column should show up after the stage column in the Rules page with the option to sort
  • Users should be able to rename a rule
