What happened?

When Actual is loaded in a pinned tab in firefox, and the browser is closed and re-opened, the budget does not load and gets stuck on "connecting to database".

This bug does not affect pinned tabs in Chrome, only Firefox as far as I can tell.

How can we reproduce the issue?

  1. Load an Actual budget in Firefox
  2. Pin the tab
  3. Open at least one other tab, pinned or not, so that firefox does not focus the Actual tab upon open
  4. Exit Firefox
  5. Re-open Firefox
  6. Click on the Actual tab, it will be stuck loading and must be refreshed.

Where are you hosting Actual?

Other

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Firefox

Operating System

Windows 11

After some testing, I haven't been able to reproduce this bug with a local server so I can't prove this isn't a result of my server setup. I'm going to close this for now as it's very easily worked around and I'm not sure it affects anyone other than me.
