Verified issue does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

What happened?

For upcoming transactions created by a schedule that are split transactions. The popup for adding splits is always shown. Even when the transaction is not selected. This hides the transaction below.
actualBug1

I expect that the popup is not shown unless the transaction s selected so it is the same behavior as created transactions.

How can we reproduce the issue?

Create a schedule with a rule appended to it. This rule creates the split in the transaction.

Where are you hosting Actual?

Docker

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Other

Operating System

Windows 11

your split likely isn't adding up. Check the split and it should get fixed.

Hello,

You might want to check your version, up until 24.9 i had the same problem. The split operation was correct but somehow i always ended up with the same problem.
Updated to 24.12 this morning and everything seems perfectly fine.

This should be fixed in newer versions and by checking that the split adds up. I'll close this for now, but open a new request if an up to date client is still doing it.

Hi,
This issue is indeed gone when the split is adding up.
