Verified feature request does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

💻

  • Would you like to implement this feature?

Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

When creating filters, particularly to create reports, I found no way to filter by group other than manually adding all categories in a group. While this is a rather minor inconvenience (depending on the amount of categories in a group), at times I consider reclassifying categories (what was critical ceases to be for example) and that would require fixing any reports using that workaround

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

Like you can select 'category' in the filter dropdown, that you could select 'group' and then be offered only the names of groups to choose from.

Teaching and learning

It would be naturally visible like any other filter key

Thanks for sharing your idea!

We will consider implementing ones that receive many upvotes, and we welcome contributions for any feature requests marked as needing votes (just post a comment first so we can help you make a successful contribution).
