Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

I find the implementation of how ocular implemented it nice.

Also, the pop-up menu when you click on a cell speeds up this as well and is really intuitive from a UX perspective.

This would really complement the feature Actual already has with the "Set x month average" in the category cell, but would speed up the process if you wanted to just fill the row with the same amount.

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

See example from above. It's reminiscent of Popclip.

Potentially, you could add additional options to the pop-up during the cell click.

Teaching and learning

As it would automatically pop up when clicking a cell it's extremely intuitive and discoverable.
