Verified issue does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

What happened?

A category with #template up to 100 has 100 already rolled over from last month. Actual displays yellow and tells me the goal of 10 (sic) is not met:

How can we reproduce the issue?

I couldn't reproduce this with a fresh budget file unfortunately. If you have ideas how to trigger this, I'l gladly try.

Where are you hosting Actual?

I can't reproduce this on my end either. Are you able to provide a redacted budget file that can reproduce the issue at all?

Did you use overwrite with templates when applying templates? If there is an existing amount budgeted in a category, the category will be skipped if you use the apply templates options in the whole month budget options.

I usually apply the templates on all categories the first of every month, with nothing filled in before. I guess I did the same this month.

However, after trying everything for four weeks before finally deciding that it indeed is a bug and needs to be reported yesterday.. it is just gone now. I have no idea what changed, and I can't get it to resurface again. I guess I'll just close this one as a miracle, sorry for wasting your time. 🙈
