Verified feature request does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

💻

  • Would you like to implement this feature?

Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

I'd like to have a little more flexibility when making a summary report to add in more math. For example, I'd like to calculate my savings rate for the last 12 months. The equation for this is 1-(amount spent)/(income). I can do the latter half of the equation to get my spending rate, but can't invert things to get my savings rate.

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

Ideal solution would be to add it to the summary report widget and allow for adding symbols (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and constants to either side of the equation. Very cool would be adding variables as well that can be defined across all reports.
