Verified feature request does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

💻

  • Would you like to implement this feature?

Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

I think it would be cool, if there was a way to specify balance targets across both on budget/off budget accounts,

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

I am thinking of below the For/Off budget columns on the left hand side of the page, adding another row, calling it Targets (maybe), then this could contain user specified account balance targets. this would not necessarily be individual account targets but more an over arching target amount.

i.e:
lets say you have a goal of maintaining 6 months worth of expenses across all bank accounts, or better yet, select which to use.
a user could add a "6 months living expenses" specify an amount and actual would sum up balances, and compare. maybe we could have a green/red dot next to the name if more/less.

Anyone got any thoughts?

couldn't you use goal templates and categories to do this?
