What happened?

I have a Schedule set to create automatically a daily transaction on an account.
The problem is that it won’t show show the next transaction in the Account view for week-ends. In the schedule view, while the upcoming date is Saturday, it shows as Paid despite having no transaction for the Saturday in the account (not even upcoming):

If I change the schedule to start from the Next Monday, it will show as Upcoming on both the schedule view and account view:

While the issue seems to involve week-ends and daily schedule, the schedule exhibited the same issue for the 11th and 12th (transaction not created while the schedule showed paid for those dates).

There is definitely some sort of long-running bug with schedules that occur more than monthly. I noticed it at least 6 months ago but never got around to writing a bug report because I never managed to capture any logs or anything related to it and it's not that hard to duplicate an existing one and adjust the date.

I have a bunch of weekly transactions that seem to fail to post. I do my budget once per month at the beginning of the month so stuff like my weekly paycheck should have 4 or 5 entries the next time I log in, but usually there will only be 2 or 3.

For example, my paycheck gets split to multiple accounts. One account should receive $200 every Thursday. I have it set up as "Every week on Thursdays," with the check boxes for "Repeats" and "Automatically add transaction" both checked. Looking at when I last reconciled, I should have had entries for the 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th waiting for me. When I went to do my monthly reconciliation today, there were only transactions for the 9th and 16th and my schedule shows the next payment date as the 6th. This has been ongoing for me

My Monthly schedules always seem to work correctly.
