Is this related to GoCardless, Simplefin or another bank-sync provider?

  • I have checked my server logs and could not see any errors there
  • I will be attaching my server logs to this issue

  • I understand that this issue will be automatically closed if insufficient information is provided

What happened?

Environment:

  • Actual-Server v24.3.0 in Docker
  • YNAB4 v4.3.857 on Windows 11

Issue:

Reconciled/locked transactions from YNAB4 are changing state to uncleared when a compressed .ynab4 budget is imported to Actual.

This happens with my 9 year old budget and is reproducible with a small test budget (attached). In the test budget, "Starting Balance" and "Payee 1" are reconciled/locked in YNAB4, but uncleared after import to Actual.

What error did you receive?

No errors were received.

Where are you hosting Actual?

Docker

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Firefox

It looks like everything is working correctly to me.

I tried importing the test file using the netlify preview build and it correctly imported the transaction states. Additionally, I cloned the ynab4-import_locked branch, ran it locally, imported a copy of my real budget and it correctly imported the transaction states for each account that I scanned through. I did not find any that were imported incorrectly. Thanks for your help!
