Verified feature request does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

💻

  • Would you like to implement this feature?

Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

I think it would be helpful if we could use global intergers/variables and math in our templates

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

example:
I want to budget $200 for Christmas. And in the new year I was to budget $200 + left over. So I’m the global notes I would put #Templates int christmas = $200, then in notes of Christmas category I would put #template Christmas/12

I’m sure there are lots of possibility to make the budget seemless if we had math an intergers. There are probably a lot better ways of using this but that’s just an example.

Teaching and learning

Add it under templates documentation.
