Verified issue does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue
  • I will be providing steps how to reproduce the bug (in most cases this will also mean uploading a demo budget file)

What happened?

When changing the pages, there is a latency (some time before the page is loaded). Specially on budget and reports pages.
I'm using a client app (MacOS X64) connected to a server hosted on pikapods.
The issue is noted when passing from 24.9.0 to 24.10.1 (the previous version is working correctly, I tested with a roll back)

Tested on Brave, Chrome and Safari

Where are you hosting Actual?

Pikapods

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Other

Operating System

Mac OSX

👋 Hiya! What do you mean by "latency"? Would you mind recording your screen and uploading an example so we understand what you mean?

Feel free to enable privacy mode so we won't see your numbers.

Thanks!

I haven't figured out where it's coming from, but this issue doesn't affect small budgets like the Test Budget. Our main budget is almost 10 years old and has the lag. At first, I though it was something that I was working on and didn't realize it started happening between 24.9.0 to 24.10.1

Here's a screen grab from the current master.

Yes, I confirme, this is exactly what i have.
As you sad, this doesn't affect small budgets of some months. My budget is 3 years old.

Hey!, I know it's been a while!

Is this still happening for you? I'm not able to replicate it myself, and haven't seen it in my time using actual.

For anyone that comes across this in the future, resetting sync is a good first step to see if it reduces any lag.
