What happened?
When closing an account with future-dated transactions, selecting the same account as the destination for transaction redirection causes those transactions to remain active but not impact the account balances or current budget view. This behavior can be used to isolate future transactions for forecasting purposes, but it appears to be an unintended feature as it effectively "hides" these transactions without removing them.

Seems like the primary issue here is that the account you are closing is still an option for moving the remaining balance. You can cause the same issue whether the transaction is in the future or not.
