Verified issue does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue
  • I will be providing steps how to reproduce the bug (in most cases this will also mean uploading a demo budget file)

What happened?

Upon updating to v24.8.0, transfer transactions stopped working. You can select an account to transfer to from an automcomplete box, but the arrow indicating a transaction is missing and the Category column asks for a value instead of saying Transfer.

I downgraded to v24.7.0 and the problem disappeared.

Where are you hosting Actual?

Docker

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Chrome

Operating System

Windows 11

Hey, I believe this will be fixed in the next release. If it is the same issue I am aware of, it is also only a visual glitch when entering transactions (once you hit "Add, the category will be ignored). Can you try on https://edge.actualbudget.org? If this is a separate issue please feel free to reopen and add steps to reproduce.
