What happened?

Altough tracking budgeting is enabled the mobile view shows a banner that all categories with expenses are overspent. Only on mobile, ios 18. Not on PC and not on iPadOS.
Same behavior on v26.6.0 and previous version.

How can we reproduce the issue?

  1. Enable tracking budgeting
  2. Use iPhone to open Safari
  3. Access Actual
  4. Open the Budget-view

Where are you hosting Actual?

NAS

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Sorry it seems I misunderstood tracking budget as tracking expenses, meaning tracking without budgeting.
In that case, why is the banner only shown on mobile?

I do understand now, that this is not the intended usecase but maybe you could appeal to an even broader audience by offering an option to ignore budgets alltogether, or is there an established workflow for this?
I have been using Actual for two months now and the only thing standing in the way of a great experience for my particular usecase is the prominent banner on mobile.
