Verified feature request does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

💻

  • Would you like to implement this feature?

Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

My budget involves dozens of categories/sub-categories, resulting in a very "tall" budget table. When I click on the "spent" value for a category, view the relevant transactions, and click "Back" to the budget table, it's annoying to then have to scroll all the way down again to get back to where I was previously.

Here's an example:

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

I'd like to propose adding the ability to temporarily record the budget table scroll position before clicking into the "spent" view, and then restoring that scroll position when clicking "Back" to the budget table view.

Teaching and learning

This seems like it's an inherently discoverable feature.
