Verified feature request does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

💻

  • Would you like to implement this feature?

Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

I'm a major mobile user (and see great benefit to having instantaneous access to your budget from wherever and whenever) and would love to access my budget through my phone and not have to worry about maintaining a personal server (a web app is technically easier to maintain and cheaper with available online services).

What do you guys think of this? I'm assuming this has probably been thought through by the creators, so I'm curious to know what major hindrances prevented this from being considered for development?

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

The current PWA already looks decent enough to use and would prevent any native code from being required to maintain a mobile app. I believe that to host this service, the only change would be to add a server database (PostgreSQL) and authentication.

How difficult would this be to implement/rewrite with the aid of AI tools? Any major obstacles I may be overseeing?
